Updates by Dada...

While I was in Orlando Mark sent me some pictures... These 3 I love. The first two are Mini Mark pictures. He put his VT hat on her. She looks just like him..... WOW....


When I opened this picture I felt like she grew up over night. Chillin in her chair with a teething ring and her sippy cup under her arm.......... Where did my BABY go?

Girls Weekend...

Whooo Hoooo and Boooo Hoooo.... Girls weekend.

This past weekend I went to Orlando with Jenee, Loretta and Chrissy. We had a full weekend planned.... Concert, Shopping, Soaking up some sun.... An above all peaceful sleep.

Mark had Ashley all by himself this weekend. He was great. He text me pictures throughout the weekend. He's so great with her so it wasn't like I was gone.

As for my weekend we got up there on Friday afternoon hit the Outlets, had a late lunch. Went to the NKOTBSB concert. Boys II Men made a a suprise appearance. It was great. 3 Concerts all wrapped into 1.

We got back to the hotel and ahhhhh hopped into bed for a peaceful night sleep....So I thought..... None of us were ever snorers... Well that has Changed...No naming names but one of us sounded like they were chopping wood in her sleep. I kept tapping her and I maybe got 1 hour combined all night. So much for a good nights sleep after 14 months of having the baby to listen for.

So we got up went to the pool and just hung out at the hotel on Saturday. We went to dinner and to a movie later that night. After the movie we went to Universal City Walk and watched Kareoke at Rising Star.

After a long day of having fun with the girls I hopped into bed thinking wow... I am tired time to sleep. Again not so much. I had to work Sunday so I left at 6 AM to head back home. I crawled into my bed with Mark and slept until 1 PM while he got up with Ashley.

All in all it was a nice weekend. Maybe next time adjoining rooms........ LOL

Playing in the Fountains

We took Ashley to a local park to play in the fountains. She loved it.. A few moms had little ones there but the babies did not like the water. She ran around, played with the spouts and loved the geysers. She is so funny.. She would run up to the water get wet and start laughing and yelling in excitement....

Straws and Big Girl Cups...

Ok so I have been really hesitant on giving Ashley milk in a sippy cup. She loves her bottles. So I an going to try that starting next week. We will reduce her to just the night time bottle. She just loves her baba's I don't want to take them away.

We have started on straws this week. She is doing great wwith them. It helps with beng at restaurants and doing running around. I don't need to pack bottles or sippy cups if I am running around. Life is getting a little easier. I don't have to plan out as much. Here she is at a restaurant.

Happy 4th of July....

Mommy had to work today, but Ashley and Dada played all day....Mommy got home from work and we watched some fireworks. Ashley like them on TV but not so much outside the front door.She kept looking around when the neighbors let off their fireworks......
Next year we will take her to the waterfront to see the real thing.

HAPPY 35th Mommy....

I had a nice day for my birthday. We just relaxed and hung out at the house. Ashley took a nice nap and then when Dada came home from training we went to Seasons 52 for dinner. Grandma offered to babysit, but I wanted everyone there. We all went out and Ashley was a perfect angel.

Ashley did have fun tearing open my gifts....

Pottery Barn Sing-a-long

At our Pottery Barn Kids they do a weekly story time. Once a month they do a Sign-a-long. My mom and I took her there for the first time this week. She is a little too young for this group. We will wait a little bit for the next visit. She has no problem getting out there......

Story Time

Here is Ashley at her story time group. She loves it. She is one of the youngest but she is getting the hang of getting toys and paying with other kids.

Ashley's First Beach Visit

Here we are all suited up ready to hit the beach..... Ashley had sun glasses too but they were just too tasty so Mommy took them away...

If anyone knows my mommy and dada...I am not allowed to get dirty..... Really...I get to sit and I get to play in this dirt...ohhhh I mean SAND..... And I get toys too....... WOW this is cool... I am giving it a PaPa scrunch face because I am sooooo excited....


Grandma sat at the waters edge and let the ocean roll over me....... That was cool...He we are waiting for the next wave to roll in........
