The Spray-Ground in Dunedin

When we went back to my mom's to get Ashley we decided to get the girls together for the afternoon. We took them to the new Spray-Ground at the Dunedin Recreation Center. It was really nice. The day was a little overcast and the water was cool but that did not stop them from having fun in the water and enjoying a little picnic.

Great Grandpa Tomanek

While we were driving back from Marco Island we planned on stopping at Ellenton to put flowers on Ashley's Great-grandfather's wall. You are missed by all. We love you!

SHARK!!!!

Ashley got to meet the penguins. She really found them fascinating. It was an up close meet and greet.

Fishy....Fishy..... Fishy.... became the word of the day. (more like iiissshhhheee)

Sunset

Each night while we were at Marco Island we watched the sunsets.

Mommy & Dada 1st Trip since Ashley arrived

We decided that it was time to get away. We planned a 2 night get away to Marco Island. We stayed at the Marco Island Beach Resort which I will highly recommend. It was great... we got down there early and enjoyed the beach for a few hours. Every day at 3PM they served smoothies on the beach. We took in some sun and drinks on the beach. The first night we walked to Marco Walk which is a cute shopping area with restaurants and a "dinner & a movie" place. We went and saw a movie. The next day was all about getting Mark on a jet ski. We rented the ski's for 30 minutes but the guy let us stay out for over an hour. They put up a pink and yellow flag and when they dropped the yellow we were supposed to come in. As you will see in the pictures the flags were still up at the end of the day. We took a dip at the Marriott pool which had some cool palm trees in the center of the pool and got some drinks and walked the beach. We ate dinner at the Sal e Pepe restaurant on site. It was wonderful! Great to disconnect from the world and just relax.

Easter at Home

Happy Easter Everybunny.... The Easter bunny hid eggs and left some special treats for Ashley. When we got home from Church Ashley had breakfast and then she was off to find some yummy snacks....

Egg-Hunt

Palm Beach Gardens does a Egg Hunt on the ball fields. It is great because each field has an age group. Ashley was in the 0-3 group. Each field has a 1000 eggs on it and inside you are looking for tickets to win a gift basket. We did not get a basket this year.

Look at all those eggs.....

Ashley and Dada are talking strategy.....

She did a great job picking them up

All Done!!!!!

Then we had to search each egg for prizes...

They also had the Easter Bunny, the Build a Bear Bear, a Shark and Horton the Elephant. Ashley liked playing the little festive games. Here she is playing pick a ducky for a prize.

Easter at Church....

On Easter morning I took Ashley to Church. She was a little angel. It was standing room only and she was so content looking around. She loved the music.
