Swing Baby Swing

I had the day off and decided to relax with Ashley and get some fresh air. We went to the local park. It has a small playground. Ashley wasn't too sure about the swing but she got very confidant real quick and even pulled a "look ma... no hands.."

I think I found and adventure seeker in her...... Can't wait to do rides and roller coasters with her.....

My First Mother's Day Dinner

On Cinco De Mayo We were going to go to a cute Mexican Restaurant around the corner. I called and they were on a 75 minute wait ( 1 1/2 hours). I love it when restaurants use minutes ....... we do that too. I think we think we are tricking the guest...lol

So we scratched a Cinco De Mayo dinner and went with a Mother's Day dinner.....

Anyway, we decided to try a new restaurant III Forks. A little bit more up scale than what we were looking for but very nice. We were concerned about bringing a baby into such a nice place, but the accommodated us very well. We had our own private dinning room. It really didn't matter, Ashley is always such a great baby when we go out. I also have learned to plan out the pace of her meal. Everything was great. Mark even got a bonus.......Creme Brulee...... his fav...

Step by Step.......

I got home from work a bit earlier than usual on Saturday 4/30. I went up to shower and get ready to relax and I heard Mark yelling.... OH My you're doing it your doing it.... He yelled for me to hurry and get downstairs... We put her in the corner of the couch and ottoman and don't you know that little angel took 5 steps forward........ She's so cute........ She starts screaming and walks fast with her arms up..... She almost does the Frankenstein walk with her arms high in the air......

We are so proud of her.... She is growing too fast.......

Some other updates... We are at 4 teeth with 5 & 6 getting ready to break through any minute and I see the white pockets forming for 7 & 8. We are down to 3 bottles a day, eating 3 real meals a day. Ashley claps her hands and she also gives hi fives..... She giggles so hard. I think she has my dads laugh..........

Grandma Visit & First Pool Time

Grandma came over in the middle of April. We just hung out at the house and played. Mommy was off one day so we spent the day at the pool. It was fun..... Dada took the pictures... he was there too.....

I liked the pool, I was just a little unsure about it at first but Mommy told me it was OK. Then she dipped me under. I'm not sure if I liked that or not. Mommy looked scared when I came up....so maybe we can not do that next pool visit.....

Grammy & Papa's April Visit

Grammy & Papa came to visit at the beginning of April. Unfortunately, Papa didn't feel good and spent a few days in the hospital. When he got out he felt better and played with Dada in the garage working on the car. Dada raced on Saturday. The car did not do so well. Dada said we need some parts and it should be ok. Mommy had to work so we did not get to do too much on this visit.






Books are my new favorite toy... Grammy spent a lot of time reading to me......

My mom has been employed for 30 years. For her 30 year anniversary her boss, who is amazing, gave her a few extra days off accompanied with round trip air to visit and help with Ashley. It will be so great to have her here every couple of months. Ashley sent a thank you picture....

The Easter Bunny

So, I was soooooo excited that the Easter Bunny would be here while Grammy and Papa were here so we could all take her to see him together.... What a bust..... the bunny was more like an overgrown rabbit. We did pics anyway....... See the scary bunny.........



I felt bad that the bunny pics were not the best so I talked Mark into going to the Gardens Mall to see their Easter Bunny....... It was Peter Rabbit and he was so soft and fuzzy..... We liked this bunny......

Happy Easter Everybunny....

Ashley had a very eventful Easter (a week early). I had to work all weekend so we did her Easter Basket a week early while my mom was in town. The Easter bunny came early and brought her some clothes, books and stuffed animals.

We put Gerber Puffs in the plastic eggs. She was quick to to open them and have her yummy snacks...
