Super Chevy Show 2012

Well once again the car had some issues at the begning of the week. After a few minor adjustments it looked like we were ready to run. Riiiiiiggghhhttt...... the Alternator Belt kept slipping so after a day of looking for the part and getting it on we missed the Friday open track. Ok now it;s Saturday, belts on and we approach the track. Look under the hood... the Pully has lost all of its screws so if the car runs the engine will be destroyed. So back to the garage. Ok the final day..... Sunday... Yeas!!!! All systems a go!!!! Except for the driver. Mark had some great burnouts, staggibng was an issue and the whole set up was a bit unfamilar to him. He had a great launch but just couldn't stay in it. They had fun and came home with a running car which is great.


One big thing...... They got picked as the Top Ten Editor's Choice and received a nice plaque.

It was a fun week having Grammy & PaPa here. On their last night here we went out to dinner. It was a great week. PaPa and Daddy had a great week with the car and Ashley got some one on one time with her Grammy.

A Fun Day the Park

Another afternoon spent having so much fun with Grammy. We went to a little park in Jupiter across from the Jupiter Inlet and beach area. Ashley loved the big slide and did a great job keeping her own with some of the bigger kids at the playground.


Uh oh......Her daddy has gotten her into Dale Jr. She is riding the #8. (Jr's old number)

Story Time with Grammy

Story time at the Library. Ashley loved the black bird, black bird nursery rhyme. She is front and center.





Afterwards we went into the main library and Grammy and Ashley attempted to read a book. Ashley does not sit still for that long.It was nice. We will have to go back again soon.

Ice Cream with Grammy..

Grammy and Papa came to visit. Dada and PaPa were busy at work getting the car ready fr a super Chevy show so the girls got to have some shopping and relaxing. We went to City Place and took in some shopping and then had some yummy ice-cream from Soloans.




I think she really liked it!!!

Balloon Messages

On March 20th I take the afternoon off to release balloons with messages to my dad. We did this for the second year. This year it was just Ashley and I. We went to a local park and wrote messages on the balloons and released them into the sky. Ashley even got a cute little girl balloon for her Grandpa.










Here she is getting ready to let go........ An the below picture has it sailing off in the park....
I let my balloon go and I know my dad got it. Look at the clouds in the sky separate. That ;little spec to the right of the hole is my balloon. You can see the hole in the clouds where it disappeared. It was such a nice day. Afterwards Ashley and I just played at the park and I let her run the bases on the ball field.
